Adam’s unique combination of technical skills (code writing, print specification, etc.) and creativity (logo design, campaign visioning, etc.) has enabled him to develop a process and team that embraces the “form and function” approach. As Creative Director, Adam provides project oversight and art direction to a team of full-time creative professionals and industry contractors. Adam has over 30 years of industry experience, with a primary focus on graphic design. Based in Tacoma, WA, Hemisphere serves clients throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Work History
In addition to freelancing, Adam's first employment was as a Graphic Designer and a Production Artist at the University of Washington (Seattle, WA), where he oversaw internal communications at the Husky Union Building (the "HUB") and managed a small team of student employees. The role included providing graphic design services to several other departments.
After working for small production houses, Adam turned his freelancing work into Hemisphere Design + Marketing in 2001. As a one-man shop in Tacoma, WA, the company focused primarily on graphic design services like logo design, page design, presentations, and vectorizing artwork for production.
Eventually, the services (and the team) grew to a full-service creative agency with competencies in website development, video production, advertising campaigns, and large-scale marketing plans. At Hemisphere, Adam has worked with major for-profit businesses (Coca-Cola, Microsoft, etc.), large non-profits (US Olympics, World Vision, etc.), government agencies (State of WA), and hundreds of small businesses and enterprises.

Raised in Steilacoom, WA, Adam currently lives in Lakewood, WA, with his wife and two adorable rescue pups (Luna and Benny). His weekends are spent playing soccer, practicing yoga, and doing endless hours of yardwork.
